In one line. PokerSonar is an information directory for live poker events. It does not offer gambling, does not take money for entries, and cannot guarantee that a schedule you see here matches what the venue runs on the day.
These terms govern your use of the PokerSonar mobile app and this website, provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND ADDRESS] (“we”). By installing or using the app you accept them.
1. What the service is
PokerSonar collects publicly published information about live poker tournaments, festivals, venues and online series and presents it on a map and in lists, together with offline calculators, a personal bankroll tracker and optional notifications.
2. What the service is not
- It is not a gambling service. No wagering, no real-money play, no in-app entry into any tournament.
- It is not a booking or ticketing agent. Registration, buy-ins and payments happen with the venue or operator.
- It is not financial or gambling advice. The calculators are mathematical tools, nothing more.
3. Age and local law
You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to participate in gambling where you live. Poker is regulated differently in every jurisdiction and some of the events listed may not be lawfully accessible to you. Checking that is your responsibility.
4. Accuracy of listings
Schedules change. Events are canceled, buy-ins are revised, start times move, and the sources we read are sometimes wrong or out of date. We compile the data carefully and refresh it regularly, but we give no warranty that a listing is correct or current. Always confirm with the venue before you travel or commit money. We are not liable for travel costs, missed events or any other loss arising from reliance on a listing.
5. Your own data
Bankroll entries and favorites live on your device. Keeping them safe is up to you: uninstalling the app, losing the phone or clearing its storage removes them, and we hold no copy to restore.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk-copy or resell the catalog or any part of it.
- Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use the app for anything unlawful where you are.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, name and logo belong to us. Third-party names, logos and trademarks — poker rooms, tours, venues, operators — belong to their owners and appear for identification only. Their presence implies no affiliation with or endorsement of PokerSonar.
8. Paid features
Any paid subscription is billed by Apple or Google through your store account, on the terms shown at purchase. Renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by that store under its own rules.
9. Availability
The service is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or gambling losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Consumer rights you hold under mandatory local law are unaffected.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
